Everything You Need to Know

How long does the SAP program take?

Most CDL drivers reach return-to-duty (RTD) eligibility within days to a few weeks after their initial SAP evaluation, depending on the education or treatment required. The SAP determines readiness based on DOT guidelines, not a fixed timeline.

Yes. Robert offers a secure, encrypted telehealth platform. Virtual SAP evaluations require no downloads — simple and convenient.

Yes. Robert can only provide DOT SAP services to Texas residents, in accordance with state licensing rules. This applies whether the evaluation is completed in person or by telehealth.

Yes. Robert offers both in-person and virtual SAP evaluations at his physical office in Arlington, Texas.

The SAP evaluation fee is $525. Follow-up drug testing and compliance monitoring are coordinated by your employer or C/TPA and are billed separately by those providers.

Yes. Owner-operators must complete the DOT SAP program and then Robert can refer you to a Texas C/TPA partner to manage compliance and follow-up testing.

Robert files your SAP assessments and RTD eligibility directly in the FMCSA Clearinghouse. Your employer or C/TPA coordinates your follow-up drug testing and reports it as completed. This removes your “prohibited” status.
